HOW TO LOOK PROFESSIONAL WHILE RUNNING A HOME-BASED BUSINESS
June 11 @ 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Join Coast Women in Business on Thursday, June 11, 2020 via Zoom video conferencing and learn how to look professional while running a home-based business. Our panel consists of veterans of home-based business operations and have tips to share.
Whether you’ve been doing it for years or have recently adjusted your business to be home-based, operating a business out of your home requires planning and discipline. How do you train family members to respect your business hours so you can get work done?
While we’re not holding in-person client meetings right now, how can you ensure your Zoom, WebEx, or Skype meetings are professional-looking? Does your business impact your neighbors?
These and other concerns will be tackled by our panel composed of the Steering Committee of the Coast Women in Business: Catherine Marshall, Marinela Miclea, and Cathryn Hrudicka. All three are veterans of home-based business operations and have tales to share.
Come to the meeting with your best ideas or lessons learned about operating a home-based business.
Also… feel free to enjoy a ☕ beverage 🍵 of your choice while attending our virtual meeting.

About the Panel
Catherine has had a home office for most of her career. She thinks a home-based business is perfect for people with a little discipline and a lock on the door. Catherine heads Capbuilders and serves as a consultant to nonprofits, helping them plan, grow, and get support for their work.
Marinela juggles single parenthood with work out of her home office, where she loves blasting classical music and opera in-between phone calls and Zoom meetings. She runs Mendo Digital, a digital marketing agency, as well as serves as advisor consultant for the West Business Development Center.
Cathryn Hrudicka often directs large-scale projects from her home office, with her company, Creative Sage™. She designs organizational creativity, innovation, and leadership programs and coaches teams and individuals in developing resilience, leading effective transitions, innovating new business models, and making personal changes in life and work.
