Selling online can be profitable, but you’ll save yourself some headaches if you figure out certain things before opening your eCommerce website.
Learn the basics of how to do market research, how to choose the right eCommerce platform for you, and how to use social media to bring more shoppers to your site. You’ll also learn how to avoid common pitfalls as well as get a list of resources that can help you succeed with eCommerce.
Advance Notice: For those who already have a Shopify store and want to learn how to optimize it, Marinela will present two Shopify workshops for the West Business Development Center: June 5 in Ukiah and June 12 in Fort Bragg – both 5:30-7:30 PM. (Please bring your laptops for some hands-on work.) Discounted admission for Coast Women in Business members.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Marinela has owned and operated Mendo Digital since 2016, helping businesses optimize their online presence. Previously, she worked in Silicon Valley with enterprises such as EMC/Dell, PeopleSoft/Oracle, and WebTV/Microsoft. In addition to running her business, Marinela serves as Communications Director of Coast Women in Business and SEO/optimization advisor (consultant) for the West Business Development Center.
Marinela earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology, specializing in social psychology, from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She also completed a marketing strategy certificate from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management. Marinela is certified in SEO, social marketing, and digital marketing.
