DETAILS: Do you already have your 30-second elevator speech? If you don’t – or even if you do and want to make sure it works as you intend it to – make sure you attend our June meeting on Thursday, June 13.

An elevator speech—also called an elevator pitch or elevator statement—is a short description of an idea, product, service, company, or yourself (as a professional) that explains it in a clear, quick, and easily understandable way. It’s how you share your expertise and credentials with people who don’t know what you do… and avoid losing their attention!

Seasoned business owner, data visualization expert, and Toastmaster President Terri Larsen, Ph.D., will help all attendees craft an elevator speech for their business that will magnetically attract their ideal clients.

We’ll provide you with a one-page worksheet outlining guidelines (such as what benefits you’ll provide to your audience) to help you come up with the right elevator speech for you.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Terri Larsen

Terri is an award-winning producer of computer animation and an award-winning speaker. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Davis, a Master’s degree in molecular biology from San Diego State University, and a Ph.D. degree in biochemistry from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Terri started out consulting for the biotech industry and eventually shifted her focus to the visual communication of information. In her primary career she consults as a data visualization specialist at TLarsenPhD.com while running several other businesses including Paneless Window Cleaning and Larsen Livery & Transfer Co.
