CLOSING THE BOOKS AT YEAR-END
November 14 @ 7:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Join Coast Women in Business on Thursday, November 14 as CPA Jerry Murphy explains how to organize your year-end closing process to make it smoother, stress-free, and, hopefully, more accurate.
Most companies’ year-ends are on December 31. If you have an S-corporation or partnership, you need to make sure that your books are done by March 15. If you have a sole proprietorship, then your books need to be done by April 15. But is your accounting system up to par or will you need to chase down receipts and check stubs?
Being ready with the information you need a couple of months in advance is much better for your stress level than not having it until a week before the due date. Or, worse, not until two months or three months past the deadline – say, June or July. Learn how to do it right and build a system of efficient financial planning and accountability.
7:30 AM – Networking
7:45 AM – Introductions
8-8:45 AM – Interactive Program
8:45 AM – Announcements
9 AM – Meeting ends
