DETAILS: Learn about California’s new independent contractor requirements and how it might affect you with Coast Women in Business. Affogato HR Consulting founder and HR practitioner Lisa McCormack will talk about business owners’ HR responsibilities and what laws apply to companies by size.
Coast Women in Business will meet on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 7:30 AM at the Caspar Community Center. Doors open at 7:30 AM for networking and fellowship, with program content beginning promptly at 7:45 AM and ending at 9 AM.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Lisa McCormack
With over 30 years of experience as HR practitioner and leader, she has worked with large and small companies undergoing rapid growth and change. Certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Strategic Human Resource Management Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), she holds a Bachelor’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology from San Jose State University.
Lisa is a principal at Affogato HR Consulting, which works with businesses to implement practical, appropriate, and compliant HR solutions.
